Spray tans affect the top layer of dead skin cells/amino acids on the skin's surface. The DHA in the spray tan changes the colour of the top layer of skin through a harmless chemical reaction. DHA, the active ingredient in most UV-free tanning products is derived from sugar cane extract and other natural sources.
Prior to your appointment, I will send you the preparation instructions. Following this is essential to a good tan outcome.
The spray tan consists of three coats of solution. One primer coat for hydration, and to balance your skins PH, followed by two colour solution coats.
I will walk you through how to stand and position yourself throughout the spray tan.

Yes! There are currently no known, scientifically-proven health risks involved with spray tanning when applied appropriately, the DHA in a spray tan solution is considered extremely safe.

Ideally about 30 hours prior. Sooner the better! A spray tan should always last in your beauty event routine.
